NATIONAL CLIMATE MARCH
GLOBAL DAY OF ACTION

  THE TIME IS NOW

      ACTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE
     BEFORE ITS TOO LATE

     Join people all around the world to demand
      that world leaders take the urgent action we
      need to prevent the catastrophic destabilisation of global climate. The National Demo in London will be one of many demonstrations on climate taking place all around the world on the same day), midway through the UN Climate Talks in Bali.

 

Timetable

·         10.00 am Cycle Protest assembles at Lincoln's Inn Fields.

·         11.00 am Service at St Matthews Church, 20 Great Peter Street (coffee from 10)..

·         12 noon Assemble Millbank for main march [Westminster Tube]

·         2.30 pm Rally at US embassy. Speakers include Chris Huhne MP, Michael Meacher MP, Caroline Lucas MEP, Zac Goldsmith, George Monbiot.

 

If you want to join with other people from Faringdon who are going on the March, please contact Sjoerd Vogt on sjoerd@vogt.org.uk  - or phone 01367-241707 .  We will arrange Carsharing to the Park & Ride, leaving Faringdon at 8.30am so that we get to London in time for the Service at St Matthews Church. We will aim to leave London at 3.30pm and be back in Faringdon by 7pm.
