Please note that the church hall and car park at Bl. Hugh Faringdon are currently closed pending maintenance work. Also the access to the rear of the church via the car park is closed.

Dedication of Bl. Hugh Church

This will be on Friday 18 April at 7 pm. The service will be conducted by the Rt. Rev. Bishop Crispian Hollis. There will be 40+ official guests from among local clergy and churches, diocesan clergy, representatives from the many bodies who have been involved in the whole project: Historic Churches Committee, diocesan finance office, architect and builders, representatives the other towns in the Pastoral Area. The Abbot of Douai will be there because Blessed Hugh was the last Abbot of Reading Abbey.

The music will be a Mass specially-composed for the occasion by Amy Thakurdas, known as the "Mass of Blessed Hugh Faringdon".
