Again this year,
we are going to take part in Abingdon’s ‘Fun in the Park’: We will set up
a demonstration station and try to contact Abingdon’s twin towns and
others. Last year we all had a most enjoyable time bringing our hobby to
the town. We now need you to volunteer and come forward to operate, be
greeters and setup for the day and make this year even better than last
year.

G100RSGB - RSGB Centenary Station
As you already know the RSGB is celebrating its centenary this year.
Throughout the year, clubs all over the country are using the
Special Event Station callsign, G100RSGB.
HARS has been allocated this callsign for the actual centenary
weekend (6-7 July) and we want to make it as exciting as possible.
For this reason we are setting up a working party and I shall be
badgering people to be part of it.
We will need everyone to help over the actual weekend.
We can transmit on any of the bands from 160m to 70cm at any one time
and using any mode.
