2012 Rally - Booking conditions for traders Venue: The rally will be in a Sports Leisure Centre, using halls on the ground and first floors. Access to the first floor is by a full sized lift. If you intend displaying goods by placing the ON THE GROUND, you MUST cover the floor with some form of TARPAULIN, OR OTHER COVERING TO PREVENT SCRATCHING. Tables: Each table measures 6' x 2'. If our suppliers cannot provide enough tables of this size, we reserve the right to provide alternatives. Traders are requested not to move tables or equipment outside the plot areas as laid out by the rally organisers and to ensure that displays do not obstruct gangways or exits. This is an important safety condition and our security team will strictly enforce this rule. Additional Tables: Please ensure that you book sufficient tables for your needs as we will not be able to change floor plans at the last minute to make space for extras. Alternative Names: If you trade under a different name, or your cheque is drawn on an account with a name different from that which you booked under, please show this on the booking form. This will prevent confusion in accounting for payments by traders using more than one name. Supply of Electricity: Some tables are adjacent to a 13amp power supply. Payment: Please make all cheques payable to Harwell ARS and crossed "account payee only". When we receive your booking form and payment, a receipt and map etc will be sent to you. Should the event be cancelled by us, all monies will be returned to you as soon as possible. Passes: On arrival at the event all traders are to book in at the entrance, where they will be issued with a traders pass (to be worn at all times), this will assist our security team with access control to the building. Liability: The extent of the clubs liability to any trader for this event shall not exceed the payment made to the club by that trader. Radio Society (HARS), hereby disclaim all responsibility for transactions
between vendors and buyers. This is to protect the honest traders as
well as HARS. The organisers also reserve the right to refuse any booking(s)
at their sole discretion and without explanation. |
